team who since 2005 have been dedicated to Philippines travel.
Mary Jane P Bangga is Aklanon, born and raised in Aklan, and knows
the province's, people and culture. In particular Mary Jane Bangga with her
husband have spent considerable time on the Island building personal long
term relationships with the owners and managers of the Boracay hotels and resorts. This is far
different than what most Philippine travel agencies are able to offer, as very
few, of there travel agents have even been to the island.

Ati-Atihan, Kalibo, third week of January:
This
popular Philippines festival commemorates the 13th century buying of land in Panay from its inhabitants, the Ati or Aeta, by the Datus of Borneo. To celebrate this event, a feast is organized and the merrymakers, in ort to resemble the Ati, cover their faces in soot.
The feast of the Infant Jesus is also associated with more pagan festivals.
There is a parade of different "tribes" in there colorful costumes and dancing
to the piercing sound of drums.
